I've been looking out lately, irregular fit With an open container, sidewalk-bound and moonlit I hope that I see you again later on A box of wine angling until it's gone And it dwindles down Am I in your head? I've been losing it lately, politely unseen Scared of the dark in blacked out windows hiding From everything I wish would pull me in closer Shrinking along with the aperture But who am I to talk? What am I to you? Do you feel it too? Am I in your head? Am I in your head? Glowing in the dark Behind your eyes Locked out of memory Where am I hiding? I'm out of my head The self in the bathroom mirror gets farther away Two hands palm to palm, never touching The vertigo shot never stopping As the condensation clears Am I really here? When I leave the room that's the end of me Scatter into ether, along with old memory If you can see me then that's all you need to know I don't want to be in anyone's mind but my own I don't like it there I can't call it home Who am I to you? Do you feel it too? Am I in your head? If I'm in your head Please let me out From behind your eyes Lock me out of memory And I'll stay hiding I'm out of my head Don't you forget about me You know all there is to know Please don't forget about me I don't want to be known Don't you forget about me You know all there is to know Please don't forget about me I don't want to know

New Lines 03:31
In the back of my mind, I guess I must have known That the photographs wouldn't make it easier Where are you now? Who have we become? With new lines that don't tell us anything To all my friends, we'll meet again To all my friends, we'll meet again Back in the day, a few seconds ago I lost myself chasing who I used to be To love every day as soon as it goes by To get new lines before we get older To all my friends, we'll meet again To all my friends, we'll meet again There was a time that I had confidence That I could do some good in this world But lately it feels like I'm just walking around Oh no To all my friends, we'll meet again To all my friends, we'll meet again

about

Over the last few years Joe and Mari have played quite a few times as an acoustic duo. Sometimes in garages or on porches, other times in dorm rooms or wedding dress shops. They give us a chance to be a part of cool/weird shows and learn some covers of songs we love, and play some old and new Uh Oh songs in different ways. So that's what this is! A shiny brand new song called "Am I In Your Head?", four covers, all capped off with an acousticized Uh Oh oldie that has come out of retirement.

We want this EP to stand for those good times AND the first half of 2020, when the normal lifestyle of being in a band (and everything else) was stopped in its tracks due to the pandemic and our attention was shifted to public health and the constant fight for racial justice and equality in the USA.

With that in mind, the only important point here is that we wanna use this to raise some donations. Our music is always free but any cent that is donated via Bandcamp will go directly to The Union For Contemporary Art (www.u-ca.org), a North Omaha nonprofit "founded on the belief that the arts can be a vehicle for social justice and greater civic engagement."

In fact, no need to even use us as a middle man, just donate directly at uca.kindful.com?campaign=359095. We'll still donate anything that comes into Bandcamp, but you might as well take your money right to the source!

Right now The Union For Contemporary Art is working on the Radical HeARTS Initiative (www.u-ca.org/radical-hearts), "an effort of radical transformation and unflinching compassion" that combines things like emergency food services for community members, a virtual book club focusing on Black art and artists, and sharing funds for local artists affected by the ongoing effects of the crisis. They also offer voting guides and assistance, tons of community and educational resources, and so much more.

Once again, donate directly at www.u-ca.org and SPREAD THE WORD. Your money can help make our city a better place, it's that simple.

Thank you, we love you,
Uh Oh
